Trixie Susa, MS, CMHC

Primary Therapist

Trixie Susa holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with bachelor’s degrees in History and Sociology. That combination isn’t incidental — studying how systems shape people, and how people narrate their own lives, gave her a lasting fascination with what forms us and what allows us to change.

She has spent 10 years working with adults in mental health settings.

In session, Trixie makes room for honesty, creativity, humor, and the occasional reminder that none of us has life completely figured out. Her aim is practical: help clients understand themselves more clearly, recognize patterns that are no longer serving them, and build skills that hold up outside the treatment setting — at work, in relationships, on hard days.

Her greatest honor as a therapist is watching clients leave treatment in a markedly better place than they arrived — with more stability, more self-awareness, more hope, and real confidence in their ability to handle what comes next. Being trusted with someone’s story during a difficult chapter is a privilege she never takes lightly.
